We have developed an innovative range of wood-free honeycomb fibreboard pallets, specially adapted for exports and industrial use. There are many advantages to using a paper-based pallet:

They are available as stand-alone pallet or as integrated Eco pallet when you choose a KimmoBin or a KimmoBox.

Our plywood pallet is suitable for medium-weight goods requiring strong and durable packaging. It’s a great combination of low weight with high strength. Key advantages of this option are:

• Lighter weight than solid wood, helps to reduce total cost.
• Low moisture absorption reduces the risk of fungus.
• ISPM-15 exempt, ideal for export.
• Smooth, clean plywood surface allows for easy branding.
• Can be reused several times, saving on costs and reducing waste.

A wooden pallet is a low-cost option, best suited to heavy loads where a strong, solid base is needed. Kimmo can provide block pallets as well as stringer pallets. The main advantages of wooden pallets are their strength, durability and suitability for storage in racks.

All our wooden pallets are produced using heat-treated wood only. We can easily supply you with the necessary ISPM-15 certification, should you need to ship across borders.

While Kimmo can manufacture any size of pallet you might need, we do have a number of standard sizes in stock:

• 1200 x 1000mm
• 1200 x 800mm
• 1140 x 1140mm

Sometimes when you are palletising a number of pre-packed products that are already in primary packaging, you don’t really need the protection of secondary packaging.

The traditional way to prepare pallets like these for transport is to add edge board to the corners and shrink-wrap the complete pallet. However, this is not an eco-friendly option, and we don’t believe in following it just because it’s “the done thing” in many industries.

With our honeycomb topdeck on top and edge board on the corners, you can strap all the products to the pallet and create a sturdy, transport-ready pallet without using any shrink-wrap at all.
