Relocating fine art can present some complex challenges and risks. Many pieces of art are one-of-a-kind, which makes every relocation project unique. This calls for a specialised packaging solution, using a combination of Kimmo’s reliable materials.
We bring our world-class range of standard products to the table, along with our knowledge of using multi-material combinations to create custom packaging.
Our standard KimmoBin and KimmoPly products are popular choices for transporting fine art, because of these key advantages:
Working together with relocation specialists, Kimmo has developed the K-Vault, a standardised solution for relocating paintings. The K-Vault solution can be customised on-site for 85% of all painting sizes.
Primary packaging
K-Vault comes in small, medium, large and extra-large primary packaging, made from honeycomb or plywood and multiple layers of wrapping and foam. It is grouped into secondary packaging that can accommodate at least 4 to 6 primary units at a time.
Secondary packaging
The secondary packaging can be made from either honeycomb fibreboard or plywood, depending on the challenges of your logistical network and the level of protection needed.
Consult with the Kimmo team about your needs, and we’ll help you to develop a solution that will give you peace of mind when relocating your valuable art pieces.
